Transfer Process

The client can request transfer of their account and data to their own control or to the control of the new ITSP at any time by going to https://www.exchangedefender.com/transfer.

If the transfer is to the control of the company that owns the account and data, ExchangeDefender must verify the identity of the client and their ownership of the data stored on our servers. To verify ownership, the client must provide the following:

[01] Statement indicating intent to transfer all account, data, and settings provided on a company letterhead

[02] The letterhead must match the name, logo and appearance of the company and

[03] Copy of the government ID card of the person signing the transfer request

If the transfer is to the control of the new ITSP, the new ITSP must first apply and be accepted in the ExchangeDefender Partner Program by going to https://www.exchangedefender.com/partners. The transfer request will then be sent to the current ITSP for approval, and if approved within five (5) business days ExchangeDefender will process change of account control. If the request is denied or not approved within five (5) days, the client ownership of data must be verified by providing:

[01] Statement indicating intent to transfer all account, data, and settings provided on a company letterhead

[02] The letterhead must match the name, logo and appearance of the company and

[03] Copy of the government ID card of the person signing the transfer request
